Here are two ideas for diluting our laundry paste:

#1. MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF!

Use a water dispensing jug (found in most grocery or big box stores) to dilute and dispense your liquid laundry soap. The jugs can be found in 1, 2 & 3 gallon sizes which are easy to handle when filled. The dispenser on the front makes dispensing very simple, quick and clean.

Use this type of dispensing jugs for easy use of laundry soap. These are found at the Container Store.

Maybe you or your neighbors recycling bin as one of these… that you can give life again. Just rinse it well and fill with Tangie products!
Zero cost to you and huge reduction of plastic in our landfills. WIN – WIN !

#2. DON’T BUY THINGS YOU DON’T REALLY NEED!

Measuring Device: You will need a measuring device for the 1/2 ounce liquid soap needed per standard load. A shot glass works well, but even better – the scoops from powder protein containers. They are usually 1 – 2 ounce scoops. A great way to reuse rather than recycle. smile emoticon

No need to buy plastic dryer balls, instead use tennis balls. You probably know someone that plays tennis, ask them for 4 – 5 dead (old) tennis balls and use them in your dryer. The tennis balls will work to separate the garments while they tumble, helping to reduce wrinkles and improve drying time. Since static is caused by synthetic fibers, sometimes it’s easier just to hang dry that one polyester shirt you have in the load to help reduce the static. Just a thought, not a rule :)

#3. LET THE PRODUCT DO THE WORK!

When using one of our products in the spray bottle, let the product work for a moment before you begin wiping. The ingredients need a moment to fight the dirt. Sometimes we forget that, and use our strength instead of letting the product do the work. After you spray, take a moment to bring a pleasant thought into your mind. Maybe a favorite vacation spot, song lyrics, glance out the window… just think something pleasant while the product does the work. It will make everything better.

#4. RAID THE REFRIGERATOR FIRST!

If you use natural soaps, you know all about that wax-like scum that builds up in the sink and shower, right? So, many times we need more abrasive cleaning power. When a cleaning job calls for some grit, get to the kitchen for some baking soda. Simply sprinkle the dirty area with baking soda, then spray with the appropriate Tangie product. Let it all set for a minute, scrub, and then rinse thoroughly. A job well done without buying a separate cleaning product.
